The Last Smore of the Summer

By kelly - September 15th, 2011

I’ve always associated smores with obviously a campfire.

Preferably, a campfire that blazes on a summer night.

We had a few hot days in the beginning of the week.

But I knew that these days would be short lived.

I had to say farewell to summer in some way.

And what better way than a send off smore?

This idea came to me while browsing around the baking section at the grocery store.

Well let’s see now, if those are graham cracker tins…

You can put the marshmellow in…

Then you can sprinkle some chocolate chips…

 Then grill…

SO GOOD.

Don’t forget the Hershey’s.

It’s just not the same.

Farewell summer! It goes without being said how much I love you.

Bring on the Fall cravings.

Looks almost too pretty to eat! Delicious idea but Indian Summer has a way of creeping back on us Chicagoans…don’t let go of the warmth yet!
